Enabling Irish food and drink companies to win through fresh thinking
Bord Bia, the Irish Food Board acts as the link between Irish food, drink and horticulture suppliers and its customers. Their aim is to bring the taste of Ireland to more tables across the world. To achieve this goal the leadership team needed to embed a more creative culture and strengthen the skills of its entire workforce in terms of innovation and fresh thinking.
An 18-month long progamme helped embed a more creative corporate culture. We did this by firstly getting every employee to complete our online survey and attend a 3 hour workshop. The aim of this workshop was for them discover their unique Creative ID. As a side benefit, this also enabled Bord Bia to establish its company-wide creative strengths and weaknesses. Secondly, to boost the strengths of individuals in each of the 5 Creative Behaviours, a series of two to four hour training sessions were delivered. Thirdly, teams used the Creative Creatures approach to address real business issues and opportunities faced by their clients.
