Creating high-performing teams whose creative strengths complement each other
HSBC Technology & Services (HTS) were running a full day Innovation Forum, the purpose of which was to generate a number of ideas that would help create business value. The key stakeholders wanted to ensure that all the participants demonstrated the appropriate creative behaviours throughout the day in order to collaborate and generate high quality outputs.
The day before the Innovation Forum, a two hour virtual classroom was held. The facilitator was in London and the 40 delegates were all together in China. By the end of the interactive virtual classroom, which involved group work sessions and short presentations; each participant received their Creative ID. We grouped them into ‘creatively complementary’ teams and explained to them ways in which to use their inherent creative strengths when working as teams during the Innovation Forum the following day.
