Converting data into powerful insights and insights into innovative ideas

With the surge of the internet, social media and not least online shopping; the companies who succeed in the future are those who are able to gather the most data and importatntly, turn this data into actionable insight and ideas.

Traditionally the CRM function at GAP Inc. has been a support function largely staffed by a analysis-competent specialists. In order to add more value to the business, the team needed to embrace a more creative mindset in addition to their analytical one. To achieve this, we designed a two-step training programme involving the entire department. The first step was an experiential workshop where everyone got to discover their inherent creative strenghts through their unique Creative ID. During the second step we applied their newly-found creative skills to a simple yet effective Data-to-Insights-to-Ideas process, designed specifically for them.
